The school organises a number of Inter House Competitions in the field of co-curricular activities. This system inculcates the spirit of participation and healthy competitive thinking among them for active participation of each and every student, we have distributed all of our students into 4 houses :
1. Subhash House- “Power of Chivalry”
Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was born on Jan23’1897 at Cuttack(orissa). He become president of Indian National Congress twice in 1938-39. He followed revolution to make his motherland free and gave a popular slogan, “Tum Mujhey Khoon Do, maine tumhe Aazadi Dunga” by estabishing Indian national Army at Singapore.
2. Teresa House- “Power of Magnanimity”
Mother Teresa is a humanitarian who is well-known throughout the world for her selfless approach toward those who are in need. She was born on August 26, 1910, in Skopje, Macedonia. She became a nun at the age of 18 and moved to India. She began teaching geography at St. Mary’s Convent School in Calcutta. She founded the Missionaries of Charity in India in 1950, and for over 45 years, she ministered to the poor, sick, orphaned and dying.
3. Sardar Patel House- “Power of Unification”
The Man of Iron was born on Oct. 31st 1875.Gandhiji got full support from him Quit India Movement in 1942. In 1947 he become Home Minister. Patel’s commitment to national integration in the newly independent country earned him the sobriquet “Iron Man of India”. He is also remembered as the “patron saint of India’s civil servants” for playing a pioneering role in establishing the modern All India Services system.
4. Bhagat Singh House- “Power of Light”
He was born on 27 Sep. 1907. He was a great freedom fighter. He played a great role in the fights for freedom. He was died at age of 21. His slogan ‘Inquilab Zindabad‘, meaning ‘Long Live the Revolution’, still resonates with many. His entire life was dedicated to bringing about social reform.
